CPR and First Aid for Healthcare Providers and for the Community

Authorized Training Center for Emergency Cardiovascular Care

We provide various programs and trainings for health care providers, including BLS, ACLS, and PALS. We also offer Community Education in CPR and First Aid. Whether you are a school teacher, jobsite safety, or a member of the community interested in learning the life-saving tools to help someone in need, we have the training for you!

With over 20 highly qualified CPR and First Aid instructors, our service area includes Mariposa, Oakhurst, Yosemite, Madera, Merced, and Atwater. Together they teach an average of 1,700 people per year (health care personnel, fire fighters and law enforcement personnel, daycare providers, and community members). We are an authorized Training Center for the American Heart Association.

Our CPR and AED services include:


The Basic Life Support (BLS) course is updated with the 2020 CPR & ECC Guidelines by the American Heart Association. This course trains participants to promptly recognize the signs of sudden cardiac death, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. This program reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines 2020 Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

Intended Audience:
The AHA's BLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.

HEARTSAVER® FIRST AID CPR AED


Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED trains anyone with little or no medical training to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.

The AHA's Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements, or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
